The Art of Survival ^_^
Since my marriage in 2006, I lost my good sense of cooking. The reason was simple, because I married a kitchen girl ^_^. Since then, I lose my confidence to cook, and she always serves me with excellent foods.
Before my marriage, I cook everyday, especially when i have to stay far away from my home town in Bandung for the project. Because no body cook for me. the only choices were to buy some food or cooking. I choose the second one more often, beside my self-created food will suitable with my tongue, cooking will always sharpen your good sense of taste, and moreover enhance your survival living skills.
I cooked various Indonesian foods, Chicken soup, Chicken with soy sauce, Soto, Fried chicken, Pecel, Bayam soup, Corn soup, Sate, Karee, Gule etc.
To day, in the Netherlands, I do feel pretty happy, not because I stay far away from my wife (that even terrible for me) but because I found my own kitchen in my room. That was mean I got my hobby back he…he…he…
I cook everyday now, and this was my food for this morning. I call it Nasi Pecel, Which contains Boiled PokCoy, Boiled Egg, and Fried Chicken, and of course flushed with peanut sauce (pecel) that i bought from Xotus the oriental supermarket.
And.. here is the food..

And i’m really ready to eat.. yummyyy..

keliatannya enak bah….
jadi ngiler deh, tadi pagi jalan-jalan sama si nduk ke pasir jati, nemu pecel kediri, wouw.. jadi kita sama2 makan pecel deh bah.. tapi ade ga pake nasi, sayurnya komplit sekali, ada kangkung, selada air, sawi ijo, taoge besar, itu pepaya muda di serut kasar dikukus, dan bonteng jg direbus, wah klo yg ini ade baru merasakan.. ditambah peyek dan bacem tempe tahu..3500..Alhamdulillah

Hehe.. Ibu, Kuncinya ada pada bumbu ayam gorengnya.. itu bumbu rahasia kolonel Yugi hahahaha.. Aduh ibu jangan terlalu deskriptif dong nyeritain ingredients nya Indonesia.. paceklik neeh disini.. jadi ngilerrr beneran denger peyek.. Sebutin resep peyek yang enak donk.. mau bikin ah.. heuheu

Oh iya, satu lagi, Itu bumbu pecel buatan Suriname, mereknay WASPADA hahaha.. Bisa ditebak pasti buatan orang jawa di suriname.. Sebenernya Abah gak terlalu suka karena bau cikurnya terlalu menyengat. Jadi aku netralisasi dengan air kaldu hasil rebusan ayam.. Hasilnya lumayan membunuh bau cikur yang menyengat itu.

Mau bikin peyek bah??? wah modal khas ya daun jeruk, ada ga??
bikin pake tepung beras : tepung aci = 10:1, banyakan tepung berasnya. isi boleh kacang boleh teri. Kalau mau enak, air buat nguleni itu air santan encer.
Bumbunya: garem, kunyit, ketumbar, bawang putih, daun jeruk. Kalau mau pedes ya pake cabe

@Ibu : kaldu itu untuk membunuh cikur yang menyengat sekali uuhhh..
@Rizli : Kemaren pas Rizli berkunjung kebetulan sudah habis, lagi pula aku ada janji anter mas Popong ke Xotus jadi buru2. Nanti lagi kalo mau maen kemari janjian dulu ya, biar saya bisa prepare hehe
